The Firm

A quantitative research lab in Dallas, TX. Building systematic strategies from first principles.

What We Are

A research lab.
Not a fund. Not a firm.
Not yet.

00Capital is a Dallas-based quantitative research lab building systematic trading systems, ML-enhanced strategy engines, and institutional-grade risk infrastructure — from first principles, without outside capital.

The work is research-driven and deliberately slow. Every model is versioned. Every failure is documented. The goal is to build something that survives real markets across full cycles — not just a backtest that looks good on paper.

We are not a registered investment adviser. Nothing built here is offered to outside investors or managed as outside capital at this time. That may change — but only when the research warrants it.

How We Work

Three disciplines.

01

Research-Driven

Versioned models, brutal post-mortems, and a roadmap that treats every idea as an experiment. Nothing deploys without a written failure mode.

02

Risk-First

Drawdown-first thinking baked into every layer — from position sizing to regime overlays. Survivability across full cycles is the primary objective, not peak backtest CAGR.

03

Systems-First

Every tool is modular, documented, and versioned — from strategy engines to risk dashboards to live data pipelines. Monolithic architecture is a known failure mode. We build around it.
