00Capital is a quantitative research firm founded in 2026 — systematic trading strategies, the 00Risk analytics platform, and a research program building a universe simulator from first principles.

Our Story

Why we exist.

Most quantitative tooling is built for people who already have everything. Institutional-grade risk analytics, validated systematic strategies, serious research infrastructure — locked behind enterprise contracts and eight-figure minimums. We started 00Capital to build that caliber of product from scratch, in the open, and prove the standard is reproducible.

The same conviction drives our research program. Universe-scale simulation — growing galaxies, chemistry, and life from raw physics — sits in the gap between "published research" and "working system," which is where all the interesting problems live. We work in that gap.

We are early, and we say so. Our strategies publish live paper-trading results before touching real capital. Our research ships when it works, not when the deck says it should. That honesty is the product.

Every product begins as a falsifiable hypothesis. If the research doesn't survive scrutiny, the product doesn't get built.

Validate ruthlessly

Walk-forward optimization, out-of-sample testing, Monte Carlo permutation, crisis-scenario replay. A good backtest is a starting point, not a result.

Transparent by default

Live performance published in real time — including the drawdowns. The fastest way to stay honest is to make hiding impossible.

Build what doesn't exist

If the tool we need isn't available, we engineer it — from risk engines to optics to simulation kernels running on GPUs.
